19th March 08 Mypolonga’s Heat Wave comes to an end! A fortnight of sweltering heat finally came to an end on the 18th March Although Mypolonga never experienced 15 days straight of 35 degrees or higher due to a typical Mypolonga "sea breeze" from the lakes on the 11th March, we did experience seven days above 40 degrees during the same period when Adelaide only had three days.
